The 11th international Forum “Optical systems and technologies”
The 11th international Forum “Optical systems and technologies” – “OPTICS-EXPO 2015” will take place from the 10th till 13th November 2015 on the territory of Exhibition of achievements of national economy (VDNH). It is the principal exhibition event in the life of Russian and International optical societies in the field of optoelectronic and optic equipment.
The Forum’s history goes back to the seventies of the last century, the times, when the first international exhibition “Optics in the service of humanity” was organized by the Ministry of Defense Industry of the USSR. Practically all leading optical enterprises demonstrated their main achievements during the exhibition. The collective exposition of State optical enterprises was formed by FSUE “House optics «All-Russian Scientific Centre «State Optical Institute named after S. I. Vavilov».
The work of specialists in the field of optical instrument-making and official support of Optical society of D.S.Rozhdestvenskogo led to reappearance of the international optical Forum in the year 2005, which was entitled “Optical systems and technologies – OPTICS-EXPO”. This event has already become the exhibition-forum of the new format, which takes place annually in Exhibition of achievements of national economy (VDNH).
In spite of difficult times, the Forum contributed to consolidation of optical society, led to solution of fundamental and practical problems in the field of optics and optoelectronic instrument-making, high optical technologies. Nowadays OPTICS-EXPO is the leading international exhibition event, the business area for scientists’ and specialists’ professional meetings. Forum’s format gives participants opportunity to exchange information about scientific discoveries, tendencies in the development in the field of optical industry, to demonstrate modern optical materials and technologies, new optoelectronic products and equipment, to solve the problems of realization of the investment projects, to find potential consumers, to establish and to broaden business contacts with native and foreign partners, to take part in the unique business program.
More than 2000 specialists and 150 companies, organizations and associations from Russia, Germany, Israel, China, Netherlands, USA, Lithuania, Belorussia, Ukraine, France, Sweden, Japan will take part in the 11th Forum “OPTICS-EXPO 2015”. Among the participants are the leading enterprises of the Russian optical industry, which belong to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the State corporation “Rostec”, Federal Space Industry, group of academic scientific research institutes, institutions of higher education, leading foreign companies, consumers of optical products; representatives of industry, medicine, business, media. The Forum’s exposition will occupy more than 2000 sq.m. The exhibition has “B2B” format, which gives opportunity to carry out scientific and commercial plans, to expand business contacts and markets of presence, to become acquainted with modern and actual technologies and to implement them in production, to attract investors and to participate in business program.
